What Is a Capital Readiness Assessment?

Methodology6 min read

A capital readiness assessment is a structured review of your financial profile, organized into categories that matter for funding decisions. It is not a credit score. It is not a lender decision. It is a planning tool.

What the Assessment Covers

The assessment looks at categories such as payment history, credit utilization, credit mix, length of history, inquiries, public records, collections, income and expenses, debt-to-income, documentation, business structure (if applicable), business revenue history, and your goals and timeline.

What It Is Not

Capital readiness categories and scores are not FICO scores, VantageScores, or any other credit scoring model. They are not used by lenders. They do not guarantee approval, funding, or any specific outcome. They are a planning framework.

Personal and Business Are Separate

Personal credit and business credit follow different rules, use different files, and require different strategies. We keep those tracks separate.
